2025 Perdido Key - Day 1 - Fri, 7.11.2025
Murfreesboro, TN to Cullman, AL
- Day 1 - Jul 11
- We left home around 5:00, driving to the new hotel in Cullman, AL. We had to take an alternate route on Veterans then left on Shores Road. We went through rush hour at the 1-840 and I-65 split and made our first stop at Buc-ee's in Athens, AL. After that, we got back on 65 then down 157 to the hotel. Then we checked in and I went to the fitness center and pool. Then I went back up, took a bath, brush my teeth and went to bed.
2025 Perdido Key - Day 2 - Sat, 7.12.2025
Cullman, AL to Perdido Key, FL
- Day 2
- We left the hotel around 7:30 AM, and headed for Peach Park. We went to Clanton, AL and stopped at a Peach Park. We also went to Whataburger for breakfast and I got bacon and hashbrowns. After breakfast, I went down 65 and crossed the 59, 459, and 85 splits. We stopped at a Love's/Arby's at exit 93 to get gas and have lunch. After lunch, we got back on 65 and got off at exit 69. Waze originally told us to get on I-10 off US-29 but then changed the route to get on Muscogee Road. No major traffic jams, just some congestion on Sorrento Rd. We then went to the condo to check in and relax. After that, we went to Oyster Bar for dinner. We played sorry and I won. I then went to the pool and made a new friend.
2025 Perdido Key - Day 3 - Sun, 7.13.2025

- Day 3
- Everyone got up at their own paces. I had fruit for breakfast, played a game of sorry and had some switch time. We had a great lunch at Coastal. I got a burger but didn't like the onions and the red sauce. We stopped by the visitor's center on the way back to the condo. We then played some red-light green light 123 and another game of sorry. I went to the pool again but no new friends tonight. We played farkle and I won.
2025 Perdido Key - Day 4 - Mon, 7.14.2025

- Day 4
- We got up and I watched TV. Then we played some sorry and went to the beach. Then I swam in the pool. Then I watched more TV and got ready for Mcquire's. We went to McGuire's and I got some chicken nuggets. Then we went to the ice cream place and I got some ice cream. Then we went to dollar general to buy me some balloons. Then I went down to the fitness center. After the fitness center, we played red-light, green-light, 123.
